The company is located in Gwangju, Korea. the company is a
leading manufacturer of home appliances as a Samsung secondary vendor. They use
N-CASS and NC Brain.
Situation
and difficulties that company has suffered
As a result of the leaving of the previous CAM workers, the
electronic discharging operator was involved in a concurrent CAM operation. Due
to the lack of knowledge about NC system, we needed to resolve the problem with
the progress of the work.
We arranged the N-CASS and the standardization of DB as the
primary goal of establishing automation of DB, even though it was not a
professional worker.
Results /
Goal attainment /Take-off
Previous workers were retired, but the newly hired workers
were able to take charge of the work. The automation and standardization of CAM
operations resulted in an end to the handling of new employees’ work and the
ability to work without disruption.
